Sad Day for Pokerworld With Death of Andreas Oscarsson

The poker community joined in grief on Wednesday evening following the announcement of the death of Pokerlistings founder Andreas Oscarsson.

On Wednesday 5th August 2009 the the news of the death of pokerlistings founder Andreas Oscarsson was announced.

According to reports the 36 year old, was found dead on 3rd August 2009 in his bed fatally shot. The local authorities of his home town are investigating the case as a murder.

As a previous winner of the World Series of Poker bracelet in 2005, Mr Oscarsson knew a lot about the world of poker which showed whilst building Pokerlistings.com. Launching the site only 7 years ago, the success of the site has allowed for business one of the well respected poker affiliates in the world.

With the recent birth of his son only two year ago, Mr Ocsarsson decided to give up control of the site, provided he stayed as an advisor. This allowed for the team at Pokerlistings to continue to draw upon experience of highest level when needed.
